Chicago weather has gotten so strange! One day it is warm and balmy and another day the temperature had dropped to 16 degrees.
Some say it is the Global Warming, which seems reasonable.
But suppose that the answer for emissions from autos was arrived at by some clever inventor a century ago. There might not be any holes in the ozone layer. Green House gases would be unheard of.
Suppose even the need to burn fossil fuels would be rendered null and void by a better and much more practical approach using permanent magnet motors for everything from tiny dc motors to massive ac Power Company-type motors.
Suppose the same Power Companies could beam electricity anywhere in the would like radio and satellite signals, to be used by anyone who possessed the correct equipment.
No High-Power Lines!

This amazing man was undeniably one of the greatest minds of his time.
But he was so advanced that many of his ideas were thought of as the ramblings of a mad man. In fact he was called the original "Mad Scientist" by the ignorant media-types. This caused much mindless fear of this great man's inventions in the public masses.
But the Profit Monger, Edison, worked hard to stop Tesla's progress, out of sheer desire to make money, and a deep hatred of his once-assistant.
Edison caused the destruction of one of Tesla's greatest efforts that would have allowed beamed electricity to be used world-wide!
Guess who made big money after that? Old Con-Ed himself.
