Excuse me, dear friends.

I just had the greatest all-you-can-eat breakfast, courtesy of the Black Mcdonald's Operators Association (BMOA). They had nice, but clearly uncomfortable, people serving tables and tables of bums. Everything from tramps to homeless people were there, stuffing their faces.

And wouldn't you know it, a guy was standing around just two blocks from the place begging for change to eat! I knew he was aware of the feast. A straight-up hype!

To those who are nice enough to give in this season of giving, do NOT give these people money. Often-times it is just money for the next drink of alcohol or hit of drugs. If you want to be savvy, just be aware of the "feed the homeless" events and offer them the information.

It is important to note that not all cities in the USA are this blessed to have food on this scale, so just use caution and common sense. Don't get caught in a "bum rush" by giving money in a crowd of bums, alright?

In Chicago, there are so many places for the homeless to eat, so don't be deceived! This is even more the case during the Holidays. So hold tight to your purse strings and give a gift of a skull cap or cheap winter gloves.
