Hi Good Friends and Fans!

Yes, Yes. I know.

You thought the old HBM had bit the big one somewhere; his crusty toes curled up in a ditch or fell into the Lake Michigan, there to play the bad-ass fish down below forever.

Not! (Thanks to the Almighty One!!!!)

I am still here at this Nursing Home, which for me is a good thing. Oh sure, There are times when I wish I wasn't here at all, when the nurses get on my last nerves and that DAMN INTERCOM drives me to distraction, but all in all, it's a good thing!

Overall, Nursing Homes get a bad rap. And I just happen to get into one of the better ones. It has been my lastest observation that the poor nurses and assistants are really underpaid to do what they do.

There is no way I would do it. A person has got to know their limitations.

"Residents", as we are loosely called, can be a big-ass headache most of the time.

A large number of residents suffer from some sort of mental and psychological disorder, like Bi-polar and dementia. Others have physical problems requiring constant supervision and maintenance over a long period of time.

Whether mental or physical, we are lumped here together, which produces a great deal of stress.

God bless the Nurses and assistants, but they can have that job.

As for me, I have access to a computer and will restart and continue my blog for as long as I can, because there is no way of telling what the future will bring.
