When Are You Really Homeless?

Hey There, My Friends!

It has occurred to me recently to question the notion of homelessness. After many hours of group sessions and endless discussions on the topic, one thing jumped out at me.
Just who the hell said I was homeless when I was out there?
Oh sure, it was true that I didn't have anyplace to call my own. And yes, you could reasonably call me a person without a home (homeless).
But it is also still true today!
I still don't have a home since I can still be kicked out of here at any time.
That may sound a bit insecure, and you would be right, but in cold reality, it is true.
I find myself inside this place because I had to find shelter, not from the elements, but from the average sheltered person! Those who wanted right to do this old man in just for the fun of it.
Otherwise my home was the outside.
Don't be angry at me for thinking this way. My effort was to live as free as I could and still not be a burden on anyone.
Anyway, I was at home outside! I was close to completing my process on how to sleep outside in my large sleeping bag with some kind of warming device when I was goaded into moving inside to the Nursing Home.
This is a very deep subject and in the following days I am going to follow up on this subject.
In the Meantime, stay warm and safe, people!!
